FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY: AKARA AND CUSTARD WITH MILK

Once upon a hungry morning, there were two creatives, CAMO and ROCK (CamRock 😉 ) who just finished working out at Amphi Theatre. What to eat we thought to ourselves, Cook?… nahhhhh

And behold a light bulb lit up so bright it burned and we decided… That Akara Woman at the Junction. With a lot of Enthusiasm like a child going for ice cream we waltz to the Akara Joint, purchased 200 Naira worth of Akara and skipped to the studio ready to devour it.

Next Delima…. What to wash it down with?

Yet another light bulb (we too like light bulbs) and Custard was on Rocks Mind…. Prepared with so much Love, Joy, Peace and Happiness we dished the meal.

Only for Camo to have a light bulb of his own -_-  Lets shoot this and Voila…. Check This Out!!!

  1. Lovely concept from hunger🙂, lovely results (food photography). Hope you guys were stomach filled
However, the photography could have started from the Akara seller, and the Akara could have been in a transparent bowl too😘😘

    1. Thanks a lot bro… Taking the Akara out of the paper and into a bowl woulda taken the Akara outta its element, the paper gives it drama wen u look at the wrinkles, the play of oil in interaction with the paper and of course the contrast between the white paper and the brown Akara to give the Akara the color POP
